Hugo Dufrese has earned his place on the international stage through spectacular riding and determination. Competing at world level in the 125 class from the age of twelve, the Frenchman steadily progressed through the ranks to join the sport’s leading riders.

Riding his Beta, he made his X-Trial World Championship debut in Vendée in 2023. He continued to build his experience before delivering a standout performance on Réunion Island in November 2025, qualifying for his first world indoor final and finishing fourth.

Ninth in the 2026 X-Trial World Championship, Hugo has made ten appearances in the series. Having also finished seventh in the 2025 TrialGP World Championship, he has demonstrated his ability both on artificial arena obstacles and over natural terrain.
