Esdeux Organisation, also known as S2, is a French company specialising in the design and organisation of indoor trials and X-Trial events. As the official promoter of the FIM X-Trial World Championship, it combines sporting expertise, event production and international development to bring the discipline to major arenas.
A Story That Began in Toulouse
The journey began on 31 May 1983, when Bernard Estripeau organised his first indoor trials event at the Palais des Sports in Toulouse. That first occasion marked the beginning of a commitment that would lead him to organise and design the sections for more than 400 events worldwide.
From Paris-Bercy to Hong Kong, from São Paulo to Barcelona, through Vienna, Madrid, Milan and Budapest, this experience has grown alongside the world’s best riders and audiences across the globe.
Throughout the decades, the ambition has remained the same: to create obstacles that showcase the riders’ talent and give spectators moments they will never forget.
Expertise Combining Sport and Entertainment
An indoor trials event takes shape long before the riders enter the arena. Section design, the balance of difficulty, sporting coordination, staging and the pace of the evening all contribute to the quality of the competition and the audience’s experience.
S2 brings these skills together to create events where the demands of elite sport meet the excitement of live entertainment. Lighting, music and proximity to the riders enhance the performances while helping new audiences discover the discipline.
Official Promoter of the FIM X-Trial World Championship
Since 2022, the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme has entrusted Esdeux Organisation with promoting the FIM X-Trial World Championship. The FIM has renewed that trust for five further seasons, from 2027 to 2031, providing continuity for the championship’s development.
Working with the FIM and local organisers, S2 supports the championship across its sporting, event, commercial and media operations. Its responsibilities include section design, rider coordination, international promotion, partnership development, and the production and distribution of broadcast content.
This role builds on a longstanding commitment to the discipline, with one goal: to grow X-Trial, strengthen its international reach and share its excitement with an ever-wider audience.
Trial Indoor International: Bringing the Action Closer to Fans
Alongside the world championship, Esdeux Organisation runs Trial Indoor International, a tour bringing together the discipline’s leading riders in cities across France.
These events have their own identity and offer an experience for everyone, combining competition, entertainment and demonstrations. They also give emerging talents the opportunity to discover the demands of indoor trials alongside established riders.
