Alex Canales is one of the young Spanish talents making their mark on the international stage. Riding for Montesa, he has built his career through precise riding and steady progress through the world championship categories. After a season in TrialGP in 2025, he returned to Trial2 in 2026, establishing himself as a title contender.

The Spaniard made an immediate impression on his X-Trial debut in Stavanger in February 2025. Victory in Q2 earned him a place in the final, where he finished fourth against the world’s best riders. It was a promising first appearance that demonstrated his ability to tackle the challenges of indoor competition and laid the foundations for his X-Trial World Championship career.
